Last Friday I was honored to be a guest speaker for Fashion Group International of Dallas' Career Day. This was the first time I was a bonafide "speaker," so it definitely was exciting to share some of my insights as a fashion entrepreneur with a number of students (and a couple of faculty, too) from New Orleans, Oklahoma, Missouri, Nebraska and around Texas (I hope I remembered everyone!)
Each year, FGI Dallas hosts over 1,100 college students who have traveled from across the country for a full day of networking and fashion career-oriented sessions with professionals working in the industry. But the day culminates with an amazing fashion show featuring a variety of the students' designs modeled in a professional fashion show. True WOW factor!

Several scholarships were awarded based on fabrics and overall design, including an amazing scholarship to study in Paris for the summer. Ooh la la!
I've included some of my shots from the fashion show. Fashion was served proudly... our future Chanel and Lacroix was absolutely represented here!
